Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ready to step into a hybrid leadership role—combining hands-on patient care with oversight of a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This is an opportunity to lead, mentor, and influence care delivery while staying clinically active in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

What You’ll Do

Clinical (≈75%)

  • Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions (e.g., respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections)
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
  • Order and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs)
  • Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups

Leadership & Operations (≈25%)

  • Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line
  • Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance
  • Monitor key metrics (clinical, operational, patient satisfaction) and drive improvements
  • Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Current licensure as a PA or NP
  • Board certification in either Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
  • Ability to treat adult and pediatric patients
  • Prior administrative and leadership experience
