Medical Technician/MLT

Performs analyses on blood and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Moderate and high complexity testing may include manual or automated techniques using sophisticated instrumentation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test results for accuracy, resulting test values in a timely manner, and assisting with interpreting results.

  • Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT)
  • Will accept MLT/CLT students graduating within six months 
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent is required within six months of employment

Psych Tech The Psychiatric Technician reports to the department manager and provides routine direct services and care to clients of the crisis departments. They serve as an advocate and role model for all crisis service clients; supervises activities and upholds client rights including confidentiality. Documents observations and results of all interventions. The individual works in collaboration with departmental staff and other department area staff to provide a full array of Behavioral Health support. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES Assists with client registration, per program guidelines. Assisting with answering phones and directing calls to appropriate areas. This may include appropriately handling crisis calls according to program and hospital guidelines. Performs Intakes, Belongings Inventory and Patient Location Assessments, including specific and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
