We Are Hiring: Nurse Intern II - ProHealth Care- Mukwonago Emergency Department- .6 FTE- Days/ PMs The Emergency Department is a fast pace, high acuity ED with 35 patient rooms. We are a Stroke Center, Chest Pain Accredited, and a Level 3 Trauma Center. The unit sees 40,000 plus patients annually (birth to end of life). In addition to providing emergency services to patients of all ages the department supports victims of sexual abuse with specially trained sexual assault nurse examiners (SANE). The ED has about 80 staff members – Nurses, Techs, and HUCs. Schedule Details: This .6 FTE commits to 24 hours per week, two 12 hour shifts per week on a day shift/ PM shift rotation. This position is open to nursing students graduating in May- August 2026 who are planning to work in the Mukwonago Emergency Department after graduation. This is not a seasonal or temporary position. What You Will Do: Under the supervision of the registered nurse, the Nurse Intern collects objective data according to the clinical practice and theory obtained from nursing education and in orientation. Utilizes this objective data and works under the supervision of the registered nurse in providing nursing care grounded in the ANA standards of nursing practice. May administer medications under the direct supervision of the RN after completing Pharmacology course (or equivalent content) in school.
