DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO ï'· Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a provider, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required within the certified/registered medical assistant scope of practice. ï'· Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. ï'· Performs laboratory testing in accordance with protocols and guidelines. ï'· Performs EKG’s, vitals, manual blood pressures, spirometry and assists with procedures when needed. ï'· Performs venipunctures and vaccinations as directed by provider.
