Chart prep is to be maintained a minimum of 5 days ahead of schedule and are to be reviewed for completeness within 2 days of patient appointment to ensure all reports/results are on chart. Maintains and orders clinic supplies and assists with ordering and maintaining par level supplies as necessary. Includes stocking of the clinic areas and proper disposal of waste; as well as, utilizing Standard Precautions to minimize the potential for exposure to infectious processes and disposes of all needles and syringes and or other items used in specimen collection to minimize exposure potential to self and others. Consistently follows hospital policy regarding verification of patient identification prior to rooming patients and obtaining specimens. When obtaining specimens, ensures that they are appropriately labeled with patient identifiers, date and time of collection and initials. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of related experience. Required License/Certifications Current American Heart Association CPR card or obtain CPR card within 30 days of hire.
