Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Union City, GA, for a Registered Nurse at the Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED). The Registered Nurse will provide patient-focused care, assess patient conditions, create and enforce care plans, and ensure proper administration of medications. Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, recording and updating medical histories, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and delivering support during emergency situations. Additionally, the Registered Nurse will uphold high-quality standards in care delivery, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and employ critical thinking to make informed decisions for the well-being of patients.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of emergency care procedures, critical care, and triage assessment.
- Proficiency in patient monitoring, administering medications, and handling medical equipment.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills for working alongside interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Sound clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and ability to function in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and family interaction.
- Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or equivalent qualifications in nursing.
- Experience managing high-acuity, fast-paced environments
- Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and service excellence
- 2 years Adult and Pediatric Emergency Nursing experience
- American Heart Association (ACLS, BLS, PALS) certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) preferred
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) preferred
