Located at the Scripps Cancer Center at Woltman Family College Building at Mercy San Diego in the Hillcrest community and will float to other locations including La Jolla and Encinitas.

What You Will Do
- Develop individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments and clinical data, applying evidence-based guidelines and standards of care.
- Establish clear, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) nursing goals to guide care planning and support patient self-reliance.
- Support patients in establishing, strengthening, or modifying social support networks to enhance independence and long-term outcomes.
- Identify high-risk patients and align appropriate clinical and community resources to support safe, effective care.
- Coordinate services across care settings to ensure continuity and optimize outcomes for high-risk populations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to track, analyze, and review data related to research initiatives and resource utilization within the specialty area, making recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Oncology nursing experience in hematology and/or oncology clinical settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) if working in Hematology
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing care for oncology and/or hematology patient populations
