Under supervision of the Clinic Director of Nursing (DON) and in collaboration with other team members, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with professional standards of care, state regulations and accreditation standards and clinic philosophy, policies, and procedures.


What You'll Do

  • Interview patients regarding current concerns, medications, allergies, and review chart information for accuracy.
  • Assist with patient care plans and treatment regimens, including administering medications under provider supervision.
  • Document patient care accurately and support providers in implementing treatment.
  • Perform essential clinical tasks such as immunizations, medication administration, nebulizer treatments, visual acuity testing, and TB test placement/reading.
  • Support phlebotomy needs by preparing equipment, verifying orders, and assisting with specimen collection.
  • Assist with IV setup and monitoring, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain exam room cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure readiness throughout the day.
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, taking messages, and performing triage within scope.
  • Coordinate patient referrals and ensure smooth transitions in care.
  • Participate in onboarding and training new team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
