Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team serving the Wyoming Valley area.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

  • Coverage: Nights and weekends

  • Role: Provide after-hours nursing support, respond to patient needs, and manage calls appropriately

  • Additional Duties: Occasional hospice admissions as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to after-hours calls from patients, families, and facilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care and guidance in accordance with hospice standards

  • Assess patient needs and coordinate care to ensure comfort and dignity

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation

  • Perform admissions when required during on-call hours

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Pennsylvania

  • Hospice or home health experience preferred (but not required)

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle after-hours situations with confidence
