Assist the Director of Business Development in the creation of strategic and operational plans and department annual budget. 3. Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to determine fiscal requirements of the department, assist with budget preparation, complete biweekly and monthly payroll, assess appropriateness of resource utilization. Develop action plans in conjunction with the Director of Business Development to ensure budget and resource efficiency. 4. Participate in various personnel actions including hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, terminations and other related activities. 5. Evaluate clinical practice and review clinical documentation to ensure optimization of best practice care delivery and clinical outcomes. 6. Maintain current knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations along with all state and national governing body regulations. 7. Maintain current knowledge of the comprehensive services, products and supplies available through DHCH. 8. Remain current on reimbursement issues and their impact on the delivery of DHCH program services. 9. Ensure appropriate staffing coverage at all 3 DUHS hospitals. 10. Assess and coach staff level of practice. Develop training programs or tools to foster continued clinical development. 11.
