Location: Buffalo General Medical Center Location of Job : US:NY:Buffalo Work Type : Full-Time Shift 3 Job Description As a member of the Patient Care Services Management Team, provides supervisory coverage and support for clinical and managerial processes. Assumes responsibility for all departments in the absence of a specific onsite department head or manager. Education And Credentials Current NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Bachelor of Science Degree Nursing preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. ACLS preferred. ANCC Maternity Certification - required for OCH Maternity Supervisor cc10720. Nursing supervisor position at OCH for perioperative service preferred requirements: Leadership experience, Minimum 2 years perioperative services experience, Certification within 3 years of hire (CPAN or CNOR preferred). Nursing Supervisor position at OCH for Maternity under cost center 10720. In addition to the Maternity Nursing Supervisor responsibilities, this position will also be required to work regular Nursing Supervisory shifts to support OCH each month. NRP and ACLS Required. ANCC Maternity Certification required. CPAN and CNOR - Not required. Experience Three (3) years of nursing experience in a clinical setting required. Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
