The Clinic Manager is responsible and accountable for patient relations, personnel administration and the clinic's fiscal management. The Clinic Manager serves as a liaison between medical staff and other clinical staff coordinating the day-to-day operation of clinic services. This position works in close collaboration with the Director of Nursing, however, is expected to exhibit initiative and independent action in accomplishing their job duties. Primary Functions Provides leadership in the Clinic and serves as a role model within the organization; Participates in SH meetings, committees, and projects as required; Supports the key functions of the Clinic as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). In partnership with Human Resources, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates staff; Mentors and coaches' staff in their professional development and interpersonal relations, developing an effective teamwork approach, in partnership with clinic nursing and/or Director of Nursing; With the support of the Clinical Nurse Educator, coordinate, provide and document staff trainings, continuing education, competencies and monthly staff meetings; Approve/deny leave requests and review and approve timecards of direct reports; Provides oversight using routine audits of support staff performance of required job duties and documentation in the medical record.
