What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) – Required at time of hire and must be maintained.
  • Certification: Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting).
  • Knowledge & Skills - Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections – You’ll be giving shots like a pro!
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills – You think on your feet and adapt quickly.
  • Excellent Organization & Time Management – You keep things running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Customer Service Rockstar – Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands.
  • Tech-Savvy – Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems.

The Clinic Manager is responsible for oversight of all operational aspects within the assigned clinic(s) with the goals of providing an optimal patient experience, delivering high quality care, and controlling costs, in alignment with Swope Health (SH)’s Promise, Mission and Key Performance Indicators. The Clinic Manager is responsible and accountable for patient relations, personnel administration and the clinic's fiscal management. The Clinic Manager serves as a liaison between medical staff and other clinical staff coordinating the day-to-day operation of clinic services. This position works in close collaboration with the Director of Nursing, however, is expected to exhibit initiative and independent action in accomplishing their job duties. Primary Functions Provides leadership in the Clinic and serves as a role model within the organization; Participates in SH meetings, committees, and projects as required; Supports the key functions of the Clinic as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).
