Position: RN Weekend Supervisor
Location: Aspire Senior Living of Joplin
Shift: PART-TIME Saturdays & Sundays

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee in our facility. This unit provides specialized care for residents with complex medical needs, dementia, or other cognitive impairments. The RN Weekend Supervisor will lead a team of dedicated nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support nursing staff in the Special Care Unit, ensuring exceptional resident care.

  • Monitor residents’ health conditions, administer medications, and oversee treatment plans.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

  • Provide leadership in staff development, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care plans and quality outcomes.

  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers.

  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.

  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing to implement and maintain best practices in resident care.

  • assisting the Director of Nursing to implement policies, improve care standards, and address any concerns within the unit.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Missouri.

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in long-term care, dementia care, or a related field.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
