Details Clinic Registered Nurse - Pain Management Pain Management Part Time Status Day Shift Sign-On Bonus Available Pay: $27.65 - $44.24 / hour Summary This position performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff. This position works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care. Duties Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures. Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome. Review medical charts for completeness. Documents all medications, refills, telephone conversations and patient visits in the medical record. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred. RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required. Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment is required. 1 year of hospital or clinic nursing experience preferred.

Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers. The RN Inpatient works under the supervision of a Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record. Analyzes the information collected to determine patient’s needs and expected outcomes. Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient. Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served. Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN Preferred. RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure. State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 days of hire is required. BLS certification required within 90 days from start date. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required within 90 days of start date. Prior clinic or hospital experience is preferred.
