Summary

Required Education and Experience

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must successfully complete criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support and ACLS are required.
  • All new RN's within the first year will receive in-house trauma training that meets the educational objectives of the state trauma system unless the RN has previously taken TNCC, CALS, ATCN, CATN, or TCAR.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Provides patient care to a general population. Shifts are rotating 12 hour including rotating weekends and holidays. This position requires a 40 work agreement.

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary The position works under the direction of, and in collaboration with the Acute Care/Emergency Department, Director of Nursing, and providers, to ensure quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards for the area. The position will provide oversight to nursing care while leading, coaching, mentoring, and instructing clinical staff. This will include assistance in providing orientation and ongoing training and development. The ADON will provide clinical assistance during times of high volume, high patient acuity, or emergency call-ins until a replacement can be determined. Summary The RN Supervisor- Clinic and Care Coordination is responsible for providing day-to-day clinical leadership and operational oversight of care coordination services (Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care Management, and general case management), as well as overall clinic nursing operations.
