  • GENERAL SUMMARY
    • The Office RN performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice. Reports to Practice Manager/Supervisor and works in close cooperation with and under the clinical guidance of the practice physician(s).

    • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Pediatric experience preferred.
    • CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
    • Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Normal patient care environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Frequent exposure to communicable disease and moderately adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities.

GENERAL SUMMARY The CHKD RN - Internal Traveler Program (RN-ITP) provides short-term 13-week assignments for eligible candidates to fill staffing needs. RNs will be eligible for up to 3 renewable 13-week assignments into critical specialty groups across the CHKDHS. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care. Plans, provides, and monitors specific patient needs following established policies, procedures, and regulations. Participates in on-going quality assurance, maintains regulatory requirements, and assists in establishing and updating applicable policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
