Shift: 12 hour shift weekends; SATURDAY-SUNDAY   11-7

Job duties:

· Must possess active and valid RN or LPN License in the State of Florida.

· 2+ years’ nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.

· Supervisory Experience needed

· Ability to work collaboratively, as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Perform duties with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

· Working knowledge health care laws and regulations.

· Familiar with HIPAA, Patients’ Rights and skilled nursing facility policies and procedures.

Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and their patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical wound care setting. Assists in use of equipment and materials in a cost-effective manner. Completes all documentation supporting billable activities in a timely manner. Maintains documentation and assessment of patients' vital signs, drug allergies and description of patients' complaints on all charts. Under the supervision of an RN, case manages patients with their wound care. Applies dressings as ordered per the physician.
