About the Cardiology Department

· In the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health, the cardiologists and patients are supported by a compassionate, educated and experienced staff of nurses, technologists and nuclear medicine technologists with a total of more than 150 years of experience in the field of cardiology.

About The Career:

· The position of Nurse focuses on providing direct patient care and assessment, patient education, discharge planning, patient instruction, patient follow-up, and providing physician assistance. The Nurse obtains patient information and updates medical record accordingly. In addition, the position is responsible for performance, monitoring, and quality control of diagnostic tests.

All About You:

  • Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associated, or Diploma in Nursing.
  • BLS required upon hire. ACLS within 9-months of hire.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in cardiac nursing.
