About The Acute Rehab Unit The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit implements a team approach, offering physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapies, social workers and 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care under the direction of a medical director who specializes in rehabilitation. The unit offers comfortable, spacious rooms designed to maximize each patient's rehabilitation potential. Therapy areas are conveniently located within the unit. About The Career: The LPN functions as an integral member of the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team in observing, evaluating, and assisting in identifying patient care needs and problems. About The Emergency Department: The Emergency Department at Montrose Regional Health is a Level III Trauma Center staffed 24 hours per day by Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and RNs who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and in Trauma Care. About The Career: The Emergency Department Nurse is responsible for providing age appropriate emergent and non-emergent nursing care to all patients in the emergency department. The Emergency Department Nurse must be able to function independently or as a member of a team to meet the needs of the patient. The Emergency Department Nurse must possess advanced knowledge and skills in the treatment of pediatric patients, trauma patients, critically ill or injured patients, and assist the physician in all forms of medical resuscitation. The Emergency Department Nurse needs to be able to prioritize patients' care and anticipate the needs of patients.
