We are seeking caregivers that are available to assist clients between the hours 8AM-12PM weekdays, MWF required. Shifts needing coverage are 8am-10/11am; 8:30-11:30am and 9am-noon. Must be available to work every other Saturday and Sunday mornings as well, pay differential is provided on weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, caregivers will have the chance to provide light personal care assistance and homemaker services which include (but are not limited to): 

  • Personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and incontinence care
  • Homemaker services such as housekeeping and preparing meals; laundry, companion care
  • Accompanying client and providing transportation for errands or medical appointments as need arises
  • Assistance with ambulation and transfers
  • Medication and exercise reminders
  • Documentation of care and reporting care concerns to Right at Home office
  • Providing person-centered care for all clients, especially those experiencing dementia
  • On the job training is always provided and excellent responsivness from adminstrative support - Truly aTeam work effort!

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1 or more years of personal care required
  • Must be available to work year-round - This important
  • Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills and be responsive to adminstration
  • Must have good professional references
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. required
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance 
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a vehicle is required
  • Pass the background check without flags

We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and dependable on-call caregivers to join our team! This is an on-call position with a set schedule after training. Successful candidates will initially train with a variety of clients to ensure the right fit, then they will be scheduled for consistent, paid, on-call shifts.
