Experienced Part Time On-Call Caregiver

$20 - $75 / HOUR

We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and dependable on-call caregivers to join our team! This is an on-call position with a set schedule after training. Successful candidates will initially train with a variety of clients to ensure the right fit, then they will be scheduled for consistent, paid, on-call shifts. This position requires regular communication with Right at Home admin staff, both in-person and through texts and calls. Must be willing to work with any client during their shifts, this is where your previous experience proves valuable. Must have excellent written and verbal communication. In addition to your hourly rates for any shifts worked during your on-call, you will be paid a flat rate ranging from $20-$75 for on-call shifts.

Open Shifts:

Each position filled will work a variety of 2 to 3 days per week, and every other Saturday and Sunday is required.

  • Monday - Friday; 6 AM-2 PM; 2 PM-11 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday; 6 AM-2 PM; 2 PM-11 PM

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform companion care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

  • Specialized Alzheimer's and Dementia care
  • Companionship, walking, and engaging activities
  • Personal care assistance with bathing, bed changes, and feeding
  • Homemaker services such as light housework
  • Accompanying client and providing transportation for errands or medical appointments
  • Medication and exercise reminders

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with Personal Care Services and Dementia memory care required.
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance 
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and your own vehicle
  • Pass the background check without flags
  • CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
