Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring a dependable and experienced caregiver to overnight support to our client in their home. This is an awake overnight position. You must remain alert and attentive for the entire shift and provide assistance as needed throughout the shift.

We are seeking a skilled caregiver with strong memory care experience. You must be confident using a gait belt and providing hands on assistance with mobility and personal care. Patience, consistency, and professionalism are essential for this role.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with walk support using a gait belt
  • Provide toileting assistance and brief changes
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Prepare light meals or snacks as needed
  • Support with personal hygiene needs
  • Provide companionship and overnight supervision
  • Redirect and support clients with memory care challenges
  • Perform light housekeeping related to client care

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous professional caregiving experience
  • Required experience with memory care
  • Experience using a gait belt and assisting with mobility
  • Ability to manage care for two clients during the shift
  • Calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
