What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!


Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
  • Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
  • Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.

More than 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as more than 800 advanced practice clinicians, are employed by the health network through LVPG. This practice is located in Northampton, PA. This will be a brand new facility where you can generate a new panel. There will be 1 Physician and 1 APC. This position is full time which consists of 36 patient facing hours. Call is rotated between Physicians and APCs. Patient slot durations consist of 40 minutes for new, wellness/preventative, TOC, and medical clearance and 20 minutes for return patients and acute visits. The division of internal medicine is growing with more than 20 practices and 100 clinicians.
