This is a Full Time, 12-Hour Night Shift, position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla – Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. Additional pay differential of $7.10/hour will apply to ECMO Night shifts.

The ECMO Specialist and CVICU RN is a hybrid role. Focusing on ECMO patients, the ECMO Specialist will practice standards based on the ELSO Guidelines. They will work collaboratively with the ECMO Team including Physicians and Perfusionists. The ECMO Specialist RN is also engaged in the CVICU and provides patient care on shifts they are not assigned ECMO patients in order to maintain clinical proficiencies and patient management experience.

- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Two (2) years of recent RN experience in an adult ICU
- California Registered Nurse License
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- One (1) year of recent ECMO experience is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience with Hemodynamic Monitoring in heart failure and cardiac surgery population
