This is a full-time night position working 12-hr night shifts from 7pm-7:30am.

What You Will Do

Preform Primary nursing care for patients undergoing Orthopedic, Vascular, GI, GU, GYN surgeries

Assessments, medication administration (Pyxis and Omnicell), wound care, management of lines/ drains/ tubes
Monitor patient progress, laboratory values, vital signs, symptoms, telemetry/ EKG readings
Patient and family education
Collaboration with physicians, PT, OT, case managers, nursing assistants, and various health care team members to achieve optimal patient care
Documentation of patient care, medication administration, care team communication through electronic medical records EPIC system.
