Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Acute Care provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider in the Inpatient Specialty Care departments.

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties: Pass medications and give skilled treatments to assigned residents. Direct and monitor the personal care duties and nursing care procedures carried out by Nursing Assistants of the assigned team. Assist Nursing Assistants with direct care of residents, as necessary. Report to Unit Manager/Assistant Unit Manager or Charge Nurse unusual symptoms, changes of condition, daily needs, and progress of residents.
