We are seeking an experienced PRN Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and skilled in preparing patients for surgery and providing attentive post-anesthesia recovery care. If you thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and are committed to excellent patient outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.

HOURS: AS NEEDED, 7 days per week 0630-1500. You must be available to work at least 2–4 shifts per pay period and participate in the required weekend shift rotation, including a minimum of one Saturday shift and one Sunday shift per month.

Key Duties:

Perform pre-operative patient assessments, verify consents, and prepare patients for procedures.
Start IVs and administer medications as ordered, including sedation support.
Monitor patients in the recovery phase, including vital signs and response to anesthesia.
Manage post-procedure symptoms such as pain or nausea and provide patient education.
Document care, coordinate with the clinical team, and ensure patients meet discharge criteria before release.

Education and/or Experience:

HS diploma or GED, required
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida, required
Current BCLS certification and current ACLS certification required
Bilingual-Spanish a PLUS
