Frequently Asked Questions

IntelyCare works with both nurses and facilities to help fulfill the supply and demand in the post-acute market. As a nursing professional you will have access to our app, be able to choose the shifts and facilities you want to work with, and attend your shifts.

For employment with IntelyCare, you must be properly licensed in the state(s) in which you intend to work.

No prior experience is needed to begin working with IntelyCare.

In most cases you cannot start picking up shifts until your background is cleared, which can vary depending on your state of residence. Background checks are run after account activation.

If you need help with your background check or want an idea of how long your results might take, you can find your state on the list of background checks by state.

The benefits available depends on whether you are a contractor or employee. Our employees have the benefits of employer paid taxes, access to medical and dental benefits, and retirement accounts, as well as a number of other benefits. Read more about the benefits available here.

IntelyCare pays weekly. You may also be eligible for Daily Pay, which allows you to access your pay at the end of your shift.

No, we don’t charge any fees to use IntelyCare for our nursing professionals.

IntelyPros must work a minimum of one shift every six months in order to keep their account active. If you do not pick up a shift within the six month timeframe your account may be deactivated. If this happens you can contact us here.

Flu Shot: There is no official requirement by IntelyCare, but facilities may require a flu shot. You will be unable to accept shifts at these facilities during the flu season without the required documentation. This will create limited shift accessibility.
