Position Summary

The LVN works under the direction of the RN to provide patient care to patients receiving treatment in the Radiology Therapeutic Department.Specifically, the LVN works within their designated scope of practice to perform nursing interventions to support the comfort and treatment ofRadiology Therapeutic patients. These functions include but are not limited to providing direct patient care, collecting health information and biometric measurements, providing information and education to patients/families about what to expect during their visit and reinforcing educational information shared with the patient by the physician or RN as assigned.
