In This Role, You Will: Practice in a combined inpatient and outpatient clinical practice settings First assist in surgery as needed Evaluate and treat vascular patients in the hospital in collaboration with staff Vascular Surgeon Evaluate and treat vascular patients in the clinic independently Daily inpatient ward rounds with resident and fellow team, completion of discharge summaries and seeing consultations. Optimization of care plan, algorithm development, and coordination of hospital discharge. Refer patients to the appropriate vascular surgeons within the department and/or other specialists accordingly Extremity wound care – debridement, dressing, VAC placement Educate patients and families regarding disease process, interventions, and postoperative or post-procedure care Actively participate in staff education and administration activities Practice Sites: Fairview Southdale Hospital and M Health FV Vascular clinic in Edina Some cross coverage at St. John's Hospital, M Health FV Vascular Clinic in Maplewood, and UMMC East/West Banks and the Clinics Surgery Center.
