Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Director of Nursing ensures that standards of professional practice are developed and maintained on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week to achieve excellence and continuity in resident care on the unit in a manner that is reflective the ESCC Core Values. The Assistant Dir. of Nursing will ensure that nursing care goals are established for each resident and provides guidance for the clinical care team to work toward established goals, ensuring that appropriate nursing care is provided and required documentation is completed. The Assistant Dir. of Nursing will function as an advocate for resident and family, intervene and provide leadership and guidance in crises, and in assuring the resident achieves their highest level of functioning within a least restrictive environment.
