Description Per Diem RN needed for our 22 bed Neuroscience ICU which was created to have the ability to provide comprehensive Neuro-Specialty Care. The Neuroscience team of patient care providers work closely together to provide the most compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients. Patient illnesses include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, spine injury, neuromuscular illness, neurodegenerative illness, neurotrauma, and central nervous system infections. We also have the honor of being a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center. UNC Hospitals is the first hospital in North Carolina to receive the Comprehensive Stroke Center designation.
