In addition, Sanford Health is the only facility in the region performing the following procedures: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Mitraclip procedures, EKOS treatment for pulmonary embolization, Angiovac for removal of tricuspid vegetation/pulmonary emboli, and cryoablation for atrial fibrillation. Sanford Health has been recently accredited as a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region.
