Most patients transition from an inpatient hospital such as Maine Medical Center or Southern Maine Healthcare as well as from different facilities across the state of Maine. Summary The Registered Nurse – Charge – Behavioral Health role assumes frontline leadership in the daily operations of the department and works collaboratively with departmental staff, physicians/advanced practice practitioners, hospital staff, pre-hospital providers and community agencies to provide oversight and direction for the delivery of safe patient and family centered care.
