ACPTC NURSE Job Location: 501 N. 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008 Salary: $31.2479 - $37.8268 Grade: N1 Job Summary: The position will provide direct care and treatment to residents adjudicated as Sexually Violent Persons, upon release from incarceration. All admissions and discharges from ACPTC are court ordered. The position provides court ordered services, medical, dental, and behavioral health including counseling and medication. Staff work on a rotating schedule and may be required to work any day of the week to meet the needs of the treatment center and residents. Responsible and accountable for resident care during assigned shift. Establishes resident priorities and evaluates resident outcomes. Transcribes physician's orders and administers Job Duties: - Provides direct psychiatric and medical nursing care to residents; attends group activities, assist residents with activities of daily living; observation of behavior and physical status. – Transcribe doctor's orders, medication and chart review, administer medication and treatments and counts accountable medication. Performs triage duties with sick call as well as assisting doctor in sick call with nursing input.
