PURPOSE According to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations and under the general supervision of the Program Manager, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing nursing care services to residents/clients as assigned, making observations on an advanced level, forming nursing judgments, carrying out nursing actions based upon understanding of the scientific principles involved, reporting and recording observations appropriately and supervising staff.
