Specialty certification, advanced procedures with appropriate privileging, weekend and on-call coverage on a rotational basis, as required. E-consults and telehealth could be included in the care provided. Will be supporting our hepatology team and seeing patients in clinic Monday-Friday. Time will be split between our Federal North clinic, West Penn clinic, and our Monroeville clinic Occasional Rounding at various AHN hospitals as needed Weekend rounding as needed Essential Responsibilities Provides appropriate patient care to include recording patient medical history and physical assessment, developing therapeutic care plan, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results, discharge planning and providing accurate medical record documentation for patients in physician office(s) and non- acute based settings (20%) Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies appropriate for the patient's condition to determine and implement treatment plans. Description The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) that is interested in working steady nights. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of pediatric experience and will be required to work 24 hours in a 6 week period. For the 6-8 week orientation process, the requirement would be to work 16 hours per week. The CRNP will provide patient care services, including assessing and managing patients in the inpatient environment, by following established standards and practices. The CRNP will provide care to neonates, infants and children from birth to 21 years of age and must have a PA license to practice in Pennsylvania.
