JOB DUTIES: The purpose of your job as a Licensed Practical Nurse is to perform a variety of care practices under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Supervisor of the unit/shift. This includes, but not limited to: Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
