Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process. Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence. Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations. Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup. Job Summary The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to neonates during high-risk deliveries and in a Level-2 nursery. Monitors and observes patients continuously during endoscopy procedures giving special attention to oxygenation, ventilation and heart rate and rhythm. Administers IV conscious sedation safely and in accordance with physician orders and nursing policy and procedure. Responsible for obtaining supporting information and completing required documentation related to medication reconciliation for use by the Attending MD.
