Summary This is a Contract or a Time limited position for a minimum of 13 weeks contract and extendable with notice. This position will pay $60.00 per hour with no benefits. We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our 4 North unit. This 24 bed unit provides a dynamic working environment that cares for hematology, chemotherapy and clinical trials protocol oncology patients. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. We offer chemotherapy certification classes and quarterly education workshops. We are looking for a RN with oncology experience. Position Highlights The Registered Nurse delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. Summary APRN / PA-C - Moffitt at Speros Based at the Moffitt at Speros campus, this outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position provides patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) , supports department Medical Oncologists & Infusion Center patients , and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. Position Highlights Assists physicians with the evaluation, management, and treatment of a wide spectrum of patients from all medical oncology disciplines. Works within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocol(s). May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice. Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate, within the scope of practice. Documents patient care in accordance with medical staff rules. Manages acute medical issues related to chemotherapeutic infusions and rapid responses on campus. Credentials And Qualifications Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program. Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and certification by the appropriate accreditation body.
