The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while upholding the highest standards of quality care. Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities Oversee, plan, and evaluate nursing services, programs, and activities in alignment with governing regulations. Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures to support daily nursing operations. Provide written and verbal reports to the Administrator regarding departmental activities.
