Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner you will: • Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses within the ARNP scope of practice. • Monitor course of treatment and make referrals to other health care providers as necessary. • Coordinate care/case management as indicated, including collaboration with medical consultants and other healthcare/rehabilitation providers, attorneys, the employee’ supervisor, and the employee. • Diagnose and treatme of non-work-related injury and illness that requires limited follow up and fall under ARNP scope of practice. • Fitness for duty evaluation and screening, including modified duty and appropriate restrictions as warranted by evaluation, unable to work and return to work protocols. • Conditions which therapy may be initiated by the ARNP. Qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing • Master’s degree, and postgraduate training in a clinical specialty are required • 2 years’ clinical experience strongly preferred • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and state authority for advanced practice required • Current Maryland license from the Board of Nursing • Maintain eligibility to participate in the Medicare Program Work Schedule: Full time position; Day time Pay Range: $96,058.56 - $145,995.20 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
