Care Plan development and modification Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff. Administer high-quality nursing care to residents. Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans. Monitor and report any changes in resident symptoms or behaviors. Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding resident care. Educate residents on health maintenance and disease prevention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents. Provide emotional support to residents and their families. Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests. Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Current New York State RN license in good standing. Familiarity with NYS Department of Health regulations and guidelines. Previous experience in long-term care preferred. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
