The expert team at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Perioperative Care provides every patient with all of the necessary information to ensure a stress-free and comfortable care experience. The RNs deliver care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients who are 16 years and older. • Prepares patients for surgery/procedures and provides Phase I and II recovery care. • Nurses rotate through the Pre-Procedure Evaluation (PPE) Program assessing pre-surgical and procedural patients whose ages range from pediatric to geriatric. • Our dynamic RN team assesses all age groups, including pediatrics, by our PPE Phone Program.
