The Patient Logistics nurse will be cross trained in Central Logic application to facilitate rapid bed placement, monitor bed placement by utilizing the EPIC bed boards for the system, work with physicians, nursing leadership, and EVS to expedite discharge of patients. These functions are designed to decrease length of stay, and decrease patients leaving without being seen, ultimately increasing patient satisfaction/experience. The nurse will work proactively with the referring facilities to drive emergent and non-emergent referrals to all Premier Health Facilities. The nurse will continually evaluate capacity needs and will work collaboratively with the Regional Access Center and Regional Transportation to ensure a seamless transfer process.
