Responsibilities & Requirements The charge nurse leader is responsible for the assessment, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care during their assigned shift. The charge nurse will facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. They will continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by collaborating with other department, clinical and nonclinical, to coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients. The charge nurse will always demonstrate professionalism, meet regulatory and policy requirements, engage standards of practice, and hold team members accountable for safe, competency practice, quality care, and continual improvement. Charge Nurse reports to Clinical Nurse Manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required within 3 years of hire Registered Nurse; Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio Minimum of 1 years clinical nursing experience Work Hours Days or nights with weekend commitment CPR required ACLS, PALS, NRP TNCC per unit requirement (If required and not current must be obtained within 6 months of employment) demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities, demonstrated professional and ethical behavior, must be passionate about nursing and teamwork.

The Nursing Assistant focuses on supporting patients with activities of daily living and performs patient care skills as delegated by the licensed nurse within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice. The Nurse Assistant is responsible for maintaining and demonstrating knowledge, skill, and ability of the delegated tasks. The Nursing Assistant also supports department operational needs, and performs other duties as assigned. The Nursing Assistant reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager. From primary care to brain and spine surgery, we provide an extensive range of specialties and expertise, in over 200 locations and ten counties. Working collaboratively across specialties, we offer patients a team-based model of care in which the patient is the most important member of the healthcare team. Responsibilities & Requirements Under the supervision of the provider and/or practice manager, assists and delivers patient care duties, and provides administrative support throughout the practice. This position assists the provider in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of provider. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care. Educational requirements: MA/CMA : Within 15 months from date of hire, continued employment will require successful attainment and retention of one of the following certification/registration CCMA, CMA (AAMA), NCMA, RMA (through AMT) or RMA (through ARMA) plus documented completion of a Medical Assisting program through an accredited institution of higher learning. May be hired with six months of experience as a STNA, but are not able to administer medication or enter Epic orders until acceptable credentialed medical assistant certification is obtained. LPN : Graduate of accredited LPN program (or equivalent) with current Ohio license. Job requirements: Basic Life Support certification required. Ability to communicate and relate well with office staff, ancillary departments and public, follow direction, accept orders and perform repetitive tasks, be patient, courteous, and tactful. Able to work under time constraints, multi-task, and work autonomously with little direction. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and follow directions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in physician practice and use of electronic medical records preferred. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license Must have and maintain a clean driving record
