HOURS PER PAY: 8

Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, family, and significant other. Integrates the Collaborative Model of Care with a strong focus on patient center care into daily practice.

  • BSN preferred.
  • Current Ohio RN licensure in good standing
  • Has practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last 3 years
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Medical/surgical experience required
  • Ambulatory and Endoscopy experience preferred

The charge nurse will facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. They will continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by collaborating with other department, clinical and nonclinical, to coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients.
