JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Provides support for clinical member services review assessment processes. Required Qualifications • At least 2 years experience, including experience in hospital acute care, inpatient review, prior authorization, managed care, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • Registered Nurse (RN). License must be active and unrestricted in state of practice. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency. These highly trained professionals working in the Float Pool support the organization by having the ability to care for some or all of the specialty patient populations. Initiate investigation of accidents and unusual occurrences • Informs RN Supervisor or RN in charge of the facility of significant changes in resident condition, unusual occurrences, incidents, or accidents as indicated and per facility policy and procedure • Attend various facility meetings (care conferences, stand-up meetings, staff meetings, Medicare meetings, discharge plan meetings, etc.) as required. • Reports allegations of abuse or unusual occurrence per State and Federal Regulations and facility policy.
