Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians and other providers Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to devise individualized care plans for patients Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and document in the electronic record Administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders and according to scope of practice Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.) Provide instant medical care in emergencies Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently looking for an Exceptional Endoscopy/Registered Nurses to care for our patients in our Endoscopy suites. In the Endoscopy suites, the duties of the Endoscopy nurse are dual purpose. The Endoscopy team consist of an Endoscopy Nurse Circulator who manages all the necessary care inside the endoscopy suite, assisting the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient and observing the team from a wide perspective. The Endoscopy Nurse also will be trained to perform the Endoscopy Technician position directly assisting the physician/surgeon during the Endoscopy procedure. This position will require call. Current GA RN license; ACLS and PALS within one year. Previous circulator experience preferred.
